pumpkins
9616 Fortson Rd, Fortson, GA 31808. Phone: 706-327-1515.
A visitor writes on October 13, 2008: "We love this place. It does not
look like a nursery. There are creeks and lakes and two of the oldest
Bradford pear trees in Georgia. There is the original Fortson school there
to go through and there is still writing on the original chalkboard and the
walls! And the pumpkin patch is one of the nicest I have been too. They do
grow their own plants and flowers on site in a greenhouse. We love going to
the Pumpkin Patch every year. This nursery has a human maze pumpkin patch
that we love. There are 100,000 lbs of pumpkins of all sizes and a hayride
too. There is no cost to go which was nice. The pumpkins were great and they
had a tasting tent on the weekend of recipes you can make from pumpkins and
gourds. They do have a restroom and its only in the month of October. Yes
they took credit cards. Hours were Monday through Saturday 8-6 and Sunday
12-5. They also do school field trips in the daytime during the school week
