Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other
Halloween activities in Charleston and Southwestern West Virginia? Scroll down this page and you will see the
all of those in Charleston and Southwestern West Virginia, sorted by county. Some are
farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm
stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple
roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it
fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn
maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of
course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free.

Most pumpkin patches and corn mazes usually open by mid September, some
earlier! You may also like a

After Halloween, find a Christmas tree at a
Christmas tree farm (and enjoy a bonfire, smore, hot chocolate and
free hayrides, and often Santa visits! And next Spring, you'll want to take your

food donation per person. This haunted house is sponsored by West
Side Volunteer Fire Department. All food donations go to Christ's
Kitchen/Food bank. Proceeds from ticket sales go to the FD for
training, equipment etc to help us better serve our community.

till? Usually we end around 1:00 a.m. but as long as the crowd is there we
will be open. The 2007 admission prices are as follows: $7.00 ages
11-adult,$5.00 ages 3-10, ages 2 and under free with adult. We have a farm
based jungle gym for the kids to play on, concessions and restroom
facilities on site, the maze itself is over 3700 feet total length of shear
haunted terror. We do not allow any type of lighting (flashlights, etc.) in
the maze, however if you are scared of the dark we will be selling glow
sticks to help illuminate your journey into the maze. We are a family type
maze, therefore we have a zero tolerance policy towards drinking or drug
activity on the property or prior to your arrival there. Plain clothes
officers will be on site if the need arises. There will be an auction every
Friday night inside the fire station..

2009 (rain delayed the crops) and then until the end of Pumpkin season.
Directions: Exit 39 of I-64. Turn left if coming from Charleston, right if
you are coming from Huntington onto Route 34. Drive 1.5 miles until you see
CVS & Appalachian Tire on your left. Teays Lane is between those two
businesses. Turn left onto Teays Lane and follow the road approximately 1/2
a mile to the railroad crossing. Cross the tracks turning right. Little
Patch on the Lane will be immediately to the left.

will update with more absolute hours and dates as the punkin's grow; We have
to rely on Mother Nature to do her job, and can't set our watches by her
just yet. We follow organic practices, but are not seeking certification.

pumpkins. Family and friends have enjoyed our veggies and punkin' patch for
many years. We hope to continue and expand in the coming years. We hope you
