This page provides a
detailed list of southwestern Virginia's pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hay rides
and other Halloween farm stuff!! Just scroll down this
page! Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some
are simple roadside stands. All should have loads of pumpkins to choose
from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have
the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is
usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes
tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free.

Peaks of Otter and Blue Ridge Parkway, take Route 43 south for 3.5 miles,
turn right on Route 682 for 3 miles, turn right on Route 680 for 1 mile.
Follow the "yellow apples." Open: 8 am to 5 pm Open daily, August through October. A drive to our farm is spectacular anytime but
especially in the fall when the leaves start turning. Roadside stand open year round, 5 miles west of Bedford on Route
460. 15' high Johnny Appleseed statue. Restrooms. Picnic pavilion. Tour
buses welcome anytime - appointments preferred. Call for antique tractor
pull held the third weekend in September, and special educational tours and
school field trip information. On-farm winery featuring "Fruit of the
Farm" wines is open daily April-December and January, February and
March by appointment.
Over 170 different varieties of apples including Red and Golden Delicious,
Johnny Grimes, Jonathan, Johnny Dels, Grimes Golden, McIntosh Granny Smith,
Rome, Black Twig, Arkansas Black, Stayman, Winesap, Gala, plus many more
antique apples.

Open: Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival opening weekend is September
27 and 28 and EVERY weekend in October; Every Saturday from 10 am
till 5 pm and every Sunday from 1 pm till 5 pm; Sinkland Farms Chili
Cookoff will be held Saturday, September 20 from 11 am to 6 pm; All
pumpkin fest activities will be held during the cookoff. Corn Maze

Sinkland Farms Ice Cream Shop is open weekends in September and
October. The Pumpkin Fest includes craft vendors, a 5 acre corn
maze, delicious food concessions, carriage and pony rides, the
ANIMAL BARN, and live local music on our shop's back porch. A great
fall family outing! Sinkland Farms is the perfect setting for events
from birthday parties, company meetings/picnics, youth activities,
