The hay ride was well done and not too long. There was plenty of staff to help and guide. They did a great job of teaching the kids about pumpkins, farming and even showed them how a smoke house works. Great corn maze and pumpkin and gourd selection. The farm animals were also fantastic. Lots of animals that were obviously well cared for and the animals were explained and educational opportunities were plentiful. Many photo-ops too!!. Bathrooms available and really a clean farm. It's worth the trip. Support these great people and this great farm."

A visitor writes on October 12, 2009: "My family and I went October 10, 2009 to Amazing Acres and were very impressed with it. It is extremely kid-friendly and everything is very hands-on. There's a petting zoo, fake cow to milk, hay beds to jump on, pig racing, corn mazes, etc. The owners were very friendly and answered every one of our questions. They took us out to the pumpkin patch and you could tramp around and choose whatever you wanted. They even carried it back to the wagon for me. It was pretty inexpensive too. I definitely recommend it, especially for families with young children. My 2 year old did not want to leave after 3 hours!"

    A visitor writes on October 13, 2010:
(positive) "What a charming and fun tour! We had a group of about 25-30 people together, half of those being young children between the ages of 1-5. We were told that the tour was geared mostly toward the older children, but as it turned out all of the little ones had a great time any way, as did the adults. They were able to enjoy the demonstrations, sampling, and hands-on experience of learning about the orchard, and how they grow and make their products that are sold in the shop. The tour began with a few demonstrations in the barn, and then we went on a walk through the orchard seeing all the different types of trees and hearing about pollination, honey bees, how the weather affects the crops, etc. The little ones were pretty engaged for the most part, and got to volunteer for demonstrations. Unfortunately due to the extremely bad weather this season (not a lot of rain and extreme heat) the apple trees did not fair as well as recent seasons, so nobody was allowed to actually pick an apple from the tree themselves this time, but everyone was able to sample some apples, cider, and honey (delicious!). Best of all, at the end of the tour everyone was giving a very nice goody bag with delicious apples to take home. After the tour was is over, some of us brought blankets and enjoyed our picnic lunch there at the orchard. We had a lot of fun and took a lot of pictures. The owners/tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend visiting this orchard. The shop was nicely stocked with fresh apples, honey, farm made jam, and other local and home grown produce - oh and some neat specialty items! "
    A visitor writes on October 13, 2010:
(positive) "We loved the tour and the apples given on 10-9-10."
    A visitor writes on June 08, 2010: negative -
"They were EXTREMELY rude. Can not emphasis enough. Rude to me, rude to my daughter and rude to my mother. We left with nothing and in COMPLETE amazement at how we at been treated."
    A visitor writes on May 18, 2010
:  negative - "The people who own this Orchard are very rude. I have been twice thinking maybe the first time they were just having a bad day. I was there for a homeschooling group. Not sure why they do child tours because it is obvious they are very annoyed by children. I would never go back."
    A visitor writes on September 20, 2008:
negative - "This orchard was very expensive, $25 for a half bushel of apples, however if you buy a half bushel in their little market they were only charging $14. The woman working there would only let us pick from 2 rows of trees. The apples looked terrible. She said the apples dont look that great because they are "hollistic" but then told us that they has sprayed the trees 3x earlier in the season with pestisides..She was very defensive of her product. I dont recommend it and we will not be going back."
A visitor writes on August 02, 2008:  negative - "Based on Morning Glory Orchard's website, a friend and I were under the impression you could pick your own peaches. (I did not know about this site before we went) We drove out and when we asked one of the owners about picking he was extremely rude in telling us there were no peaches! We thought he was joking at first so we asked again were we could start picking...to which he replied "What part of NO PEACHES do you not UNDERSTAND?!" We were so shocked at the rudeness...I can't imagine how they have any customers. Just wanted to let other pickers know. They did say they do pick-your-own apples in a few weeks but we will definitely not be going back!"
A visitor writes on July 28, 2008: "I spoke with a lady who answered the phone...they are not a pick your own"
But another visitor disagrees: July 8, 2007: positive -"I have taken my girl scout troop there to learn about the ins and outs of the apple business. I have also visited the orchard several times myself to purchase the excellent cider they sell. While I cannot comment on your reviewer's negative experience at the orchard, my co-leader and I found the owners to be knowledgeable and helpful with an excellent professional rapport with our scouts. Every girl had a wonderful experience the day we visited. I would hate to see their reputation sullied by one reviewer's feelings that they are not child friendly. To your reviewer, perhaps a little discipline is in order when children are squeezing and fingering someone else's livelihood...? I, personally, do not wish to purchase bruised and damaged fruit! This is just a thought to take into consideration. Thank you."
A visitor writes on October 16, 2006:  negative - "As homeschoolers, we have visited this farm many times. After frequent visits with many different children and even a visit with none (just judging their reaction to some other children in the store), I would have to say that this farm and especially the store are NOT child friendly. They openly yelled at the children and complained to a parent about her child "touching" stuff so much that the parent left, buying nothing. "

A visitor writes on October 12, 2010: (positive) "We went to the Pumpkin Place on Vesta Rd and loved it! The staff were super nice and it's wasn't too expensive ($6 adult, $4 3yr kids and up, kids 2yrs and under are free). There was an inflatable slide, face painting, games, some animals (miniature pony, chickens, donkey, goats), pumpkin patch, hay ride, and a corn maze. My favorite part was the corn maze. It's 5 acres and starts out really simple. I thought it was going to be boring. It quickly gets more and more complicated. Really fun and well done. The parking is good and there are concession stands with food and drinks. If you like a good corn maze and a little of everything else, check the Pumpkin Place out."
