This page provides a detailed list of Kansas's pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hay rides and other Halloween farm stuff!! Just scroll down this page! Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. All should have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. A visitor writes on October 06, 2009: "This is a very friendly and safe place for kids and families. My college friends love to go out there and pick the biggest pumpkin (which they can't carry alone). With 10 acres of land there are several varieties to choose from. When you choose your favorite(s) (its hard to pick only one) they weigh it on an antique looking scale and I believe they take credit cards but I'm not positive. After that you can try your luck on the Mini Pumpkin slingshot. Its lots of fun and much better quality than stores in town. You can pick your favorite pumpkin right out of the patch. For folks that want more pumpkins than can be carried, there are wagons available. There is also a person available with a 4-wheeler and wagon to bring in the extra large ones! THINGS TO SEE: Tepee, Windmill, Maze, Wagon Ride, Hay Bales, Mini Pumpkin slingshot, Picture Opportunities! Tours for School & Church groups. "
