This page provides a detailed list of East-Central's pumpkin patches, corn mazes, hay rides and other Halloween farm stuff!!   Click here to see the listings of pumpkin patches, corn mazes and farms in East-Central Florida or just scroll down the page! Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands.  All should have loads of pumpkins to choose from.  To really make it fun for  your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride.  There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the  more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm all information, they don't always report changes to me!

We have loads of related resources here, too.

On our Pick-your-own website, we also have pages with our own simple instructions on canning, freezing and drying  many other fruits and vegetables, such as  how to make jam, apple butter, applesauce, spaghetti sauce, salsa, pickles, ketchup or freezing corn  (these links open new pages, just close them to return here).   Be sure to come back at Christmas if you are looking for a cut-your-own Christmas tree farm!   Look at the bottom of the page for links to resources on home canning, picking tips, recipes, etc..

I'm always looking for more to add and feedback about any patch, stand or farm you have visited, so write me using the Feedback form!  And if you have a farm and want to add it or correct the information, please click on Add My Farm!

A visitor writes on October 16, 2010: " I just got back from Long & Scott corn maze and pumpkin patch with my family and it was amazing, it had everything you would want in that kind of attraction, and is a great family outing, however, the customer service leaves something to be desired. My family and I got there at about 3pm, the attraction closes at 5pm and we knew this and we were fine with it we still wanted to go in, but the attendants at the attraction seemed actually angry that people were continuing to show up so close to show up so close to closing time. They were actually yelling at the customers and speaking in very rude tones to the people who were there spending good money at their business. At about a quarter to 5pm they start to go around the park and tell everyone that they are closing and they even threatened that if you are not out of the parking lot by 5pm that they are going to close the gate on you. As i walked out the park to the parking lot even and older lady going to her car was talking out loud to herself about how disorganized and rude everyone was, so i said to her " Wow, I thought it was just me! " and she said " no, they are an equal opportunity rude organization. " So, long story short, be forewarned the attraction itself is great but the staff just might ruin it for you. "

They do have a little market with fruits and veggies and also a corn on the cob tent area that they sell the corn already cooked w/all kinds of ways to top it & eat it. A visitor writes on October 17, 2013: "We visited the pumpkin patch at the Pioneer Village in Kissimmee, FL yesterday. It is put on by the Osceola County Historical Society, and is by far the best patch I have ever been to, and I have been to more than my share! The setting would be ideal for one of those higher end, Autumn-themed family photo sessions. While the pumpkin supply was not HUGE, it was plentiful and I did not see a single pumpkin that I wouldn't have been happy to purchase. The prices were reasonable, and the staff was knowledgeable and polite, without hovering and pressuring you. It is located in the Pioneer village, next to a house built in 1887. There are huge oak trees dripping in Spanish moss, decorations including (but not limited to) hay bales and fall flowers, two bright red picnic tables, an antique saddle on an old washtub, a couple of nice (not cheap or cheesy) scarecrows, and even a bench and little rustic chalkboard sign with 2013 on it, perfect for photos! The background is full of the historic buildings, all old, aged wood. I could have happily spent the afternoon there taking photos of my kids. And there was only one other family there, which was nice. (It was a Wednesday around 12, so I can't say what weekends are like!) Not the crowded parking lot full of boxes of pumpkins that you see all over the place. I seriously wish I had taken more photos. I will probably have to go back, and I live an hour away! This will definitely be our new patch. "

A visitor writes on July 15, 2013: "This listing is correct in that it is a pumpkin patch but you forgot to mention that it is only for the super rich residents of Celebration FL. I went here in 2012 and was told that the pumpkins were based on donation and the proceeds go to charity. When my family picked out pumpkins we were told that the donation price was $375 for 5 pumpkins and that was the "expected" donation. When I told the worker that telling me a price was not a donation he became belligerent. (he even said that "the stem alone on one of the pumpkins was worth $25)! Needless to say that $75 a pumpkin is a little outrageous even for charity. One very sad thing that I saw was a mother of 2 children measuring pumpkins because she could not afford to pay the "donation" and did not want to leave empty handed. I saw many people pick out pumpkins, learn the "Price" and leave because it was ridiculous! BTW - have been to many pumpkin patches recommended on this site in Colorado and had just recently moved to FL when I went to the Celebration Patch in 2012. Celebration patch was far from anything that is normal for pumpkin prices.".
    A visitor writes on August 08, 2012:
"Nice staff, great prices, nice pumpkins, usually have a Great Pumpkin area set up with Charlie Brown cutouts and the rest of the gang. It's a work in progress, but they've managed to add something new every year."
