Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other Halloween activities in the Santa Clara County area of California?  Scroll down this page and you will see the all of thoses in the Santa Clara County area of California, sorted by county. Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands.  Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from.  To really make it fun for  your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride.  There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the  more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. A visitor writes on November 03, 2010: "You pay a small fee upon entrance to Grandpa's Pumpkin Patch which is well worth it!! My family stayed at the patch for over 2 hours enjoying all the amenities the patch has to offer-my daughter just loved holding the baby chicks and petting the soft bunnies! Both my kids really enjoyed both bounce houses and would have stayed there all day. Our family loved the hay ride (also included in the entrance fee). I HIGHLY recommend a visit to Grandpas Pumpkin Patch--there is no other patch like it!"
A visitor writes on October 29, 2010: "I just went to this farm yesterday with my 2-year-old, and had a blast at a very affordable price. Yes, you do pay an entry fee, but once you are inside, everything is included in that price. That means, unlimited time (a lot of other farms charge by 15-20-minute increments), access to all the equipment (small toy cars, tricycles for the kids, 2 different jump houses- unlimited time in the jump house as well), you can get a free hayride, there are small farm animals that the children can pet, a small haunted house, and above all, very friendly staff. Such a gem in our urban living area! I would highly recommend this place to any visitor!"
A visitor writes on October 27, 2010: "I went here last evening (10/26) and was shocked that this place charges $2 per adult & $3 per child for an entrance fee. Being as we had not been to a patch yet, we paid the price so we could get pictures of our son's first visit. If we had picked out a pumpkin that was $8, it would have been a total of $12 with the fees included. Not worth it to me and I will not visit this place ever again! I urge you to remove this place and do not promote his business. Kind thanks for your attention."

We make it a tradition to get as many family members together and go. It makes for a fun activity. There are others to pick from but we prefer this and also the Spinas for a low-key activity. I was surprised there was no entry for Santa Clara Co. I'd read that Usegi had added activities and have been sick so I consulted your site. I love your site. I am sharing with our home schooling group.Open entire month of Oct, evenings with lights. They add activities yearly. Their is a covered snack area with tables, crafts and art to purchase, corn maze, hay ride, pony rides, train, merry go round, special walk ways and HUGE pumpkins on display.
