Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other Halloween activities in Salt Lake City, Provo and Surrounding Counties? Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. The corn maze has three different mazes at varying levels of difficulty and length. The Kids maze is .3 miles long, our Adventurous maze is 1.5 miles and the Insane maze is 3.2 miles. The Corn Maze Admission allows you access to all three mazes.We have designed the maze to be an interactive activity that makes a trip inside the maze more than just a haphazard stroll. Also pie pumpkins. My family goes every October to pick out our pumpkins and enjoy the activities. We have small children and it's just the right size for us: the kids have fun and are tired at the end but not scared. Also not as expensive as the large corn mazes ($3 per person in '07 I think). We often see school tours going through. "
