Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other Halloween activities in Greensboro Triad Area of North Carolina? Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm the info, they don't always report changes to me!

I was surprised at how big the farm was, and ended up spending all afternoon there. They also have a wedding location by the pond, and lots of farm animals, though they discourage you from petting or feeding them. And while their summer fest is over, they prep the corn field to make a cornmaze for their Fall on the Farm event.
    Pumpkins and corn maze: Every Saturday and Sunday September 24th through November 6th. We will be open for corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayride, animal viewing & more!.
    Christmas: We have a magical season planned with photos with Santa, Christmas crafts to enjoy creating with family, tractor rides, hot chocolate, Christmas games and activities, bon fire and s’mores, letter to Santa, farm animals and more!
    Easter: Join us for an Egg-stra special time! Easter egg hunts going on all day, hayride, Easter crafts, animal viewing, concessions and more; Date/ Time: 2 weekends before Easter from 11am-5pm and Easter day 1pm-5pm. No reservation needed for this event! Egg hunts are ongoing all day.
    Weddings: Smith Hollow Farm is the perfect place for a romantic county wedding. Nestled in a hollow, down a private dirt road, the farm overlooks a beautiful stocked pond, horse pastures, old oak trees and beautiful landscaped grounds. The 1941 restored farm house provides the bride with a spacious private dressing room, including full length mirrors and full bath. Farm house accommodations also include prep kitchen and honeymoon suite. The grooms house offers kitchen, full bath and plenty of space for the men to dress and socialize. The covered area overlooking the pond provides great catering accommodations and beautiful rehearsal dinner seating.
