Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other
Halloween activities in southwestern Iowa, Omaha area? Scroll down this page and you will see the
all of those in southwestern Iowa, Omaha area, sorted by county. Some are
farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm
stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple
roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it
fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn
maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of
course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free.

person at picking corn by hand. Today the National Cornhusking Association sponsors a contest the third
weekend in October to determine who is the best . There are twelve classes that are from ten to thirty
minutes long that people can participate in. There are nine states that are members of the National
Cornhusking Association, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, South Dakota and

Sand Play Area - The Sand Play area has lots of toys and activities
for the kids to have fun. Take A Walk In Our Grave Yard - *Guillotine - Take out some frustrations by crushing a pumpkin with
our ten foot tall guillotine. Dino Dig - Let the kids discover
fossil bones of our very own T Rex discovered on the farm. Putt Putt
Pumpkin - Try out our 5 hole pumpkin golf course. Train Rides for
Tots - Let the little ones take a train ride around the play area. Tryke Track - Oversized trykes
for the kids to have fun. Corn Maze - Have fun navigating through the corn
