Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other Halloween activities in South and Southwest of Atlanta (South Fulton, I-85, I75 area) Georgia? Scroll down this page and you will see the all of those in South and Southwest of Atlanta (South Fulton, I-85, I75 area) Georgia, sorted by county. Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm the info, they don't always report changes to me!

Held on the Historic Courthouse Lawn. Again this year, Main Street Fayetteville and Fayetteville First United Methodist Church have teamed up to make this a family-friendly event to remember. The festival fun actually begins early on Friday, October 25, as schools and other community groups bring decorated pumpkins to line the sidewalks at the Historic Courthouse Lawn. Judges will award prizes in various categories of displayed pumpkins at 1pmthat day. Pumpkin displays will remain on the lawn through Sunday, October 27, and the community is invited to enjoy self-guided tours and to enjoy dining and shopping while they are on the Courthouse Square. The culmination of the festival happens Saturday evening, 5 to 8, as participants enjoy live music, face painting, rock painting, sand art, balloon shaping, inflatables and games! The annual costume contest for kids 13 and under is a highlight of the event, as well as the Trick or Treat Village on the adjacent Fayetteville First United Methodist Church lawn. Admission and most attractions are free. Informational and retail vendors will also be on hand as well as a food truck! Pumpkin artists will retrieve their displayed creations beginning Monday, October 28, and are asked to remove them no later than Wednesday, October 30.     Hayrides through an 80-acre portion of the farm. Kids can pet goats and our Holstein calves. It's guaranteed to bring squeals of delight -- and not all from the animals! There's plenty of room for kids to be kids on the farm, and we have a great KIDS KORNER for just that. And you can plan to visit our Concession Stand for other goodies, too. We'll have popcorn, corn dogs, Georgia's famous boiled peanuts, all kinds of drinks, corn on the cob ... the pumpkin patch, and lots more The dairy barn is a favorite farm destination for kids! Dairy barn school field trips will include a milking demonstration, as well as information on milk processing. Children will also learn about different products made from milk.
    NOTE from Blake, September 2023: This has got to be my favorite farm in Georgia! What a great farm! My family enjoyed a day there. We found everyone was friendly, and there was so much to do, from hayrides, cow train, corn maze (with tall corn) farm animals and more!
