Looking for a local pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayride, gourds and other Halloween activities in Ventura County, California? Scroll down this page and you will see the all of those in Ventura County, California, sorted by county. Some are farms, where you take a hay ride out into the field, others are elaborate farm stands with mountains of pumpkins and other activities and some are simple roadside stands. Most have loads of pumpkins to choose from. To really make it fun for your kids, look for those that have the extra activities, like a corn maze, spook house, or hayride. There is usually a small fee for the mazes (of course, the more elaborate mazes tend to charge more. Hayrides are often free. ALWAYS call before you go to confirm the info, they don't always report changes to me!

Most pumpkin patches and corn mazes usually open by mid September, some earlier! You may also like a local zombie event or Zombie Paintball!.   • Underwood Family Farms is a pick-your-own grower of a wide variety of fresh vegetables and fruits in Ventura County, California. They offer a wide variety of services and activities tailored for the entire family, including pick-your-own produce, birthday parties at their Farm Animal Center, school tours, gift baskets (shipped anywhere in the U.S.), and the Fall Harvest Festival in October. The festival will be open from 9 am until 6 pm October 1st through October 31st. Admission to the festival is $12.00 per person on Saturdays and Sundays and $3.00 per person Monday through Friday. Children under 2 are free. On the weekends, each person will receive a tractor-drawn wagon ride with their paid admission.
