"Can you tell? I LOVE LOVE LOVE this FARM - you just have to talk to the owner for 5 minutes to really get a feel for what it means to be a farmer in this urban environment - his love of his work and his hard work shows, it is great for the kids to really feel what this is all about, and their products are WONDERFUL from the organic pumpkins and squash, popcorn and gourds to their produce stand - where they sell some of the 20 varieties of lettuce that they grow, potatoes, strawberries and more. I am NOT a relative, but I'll tell you I wish I were....please post them on your site - they do NOT charge for entrance to the patch and they barely break even on it without the rides and other junk that other patches have....thank you This is the BIGGEST working farm in Alameda county -sad it was not on the site yet - the owner is 78 years old and has been farming in the area his whole life - part of EBRPD Ardenwood Farm park, but independently farmed by the family - ALL crops are organic (though some not certified) including pumpkins - over 20 variety of pumpkins at patch, giant hay pyramid for climbing, old fashioned wagons for pulling - none of the ride crap of other patches, just a real old working farm!
